Distraction 24: Chanel No. 5

Chanel No. 5 has been on sale continuously since 1921.  It's estimated that a bottle is sold every 55 seconds.

I find it interesting that this scent's popularity persists nearly 100 years later.  You can buy a bottle of it today and smell the same as someone who wore it 90 years ago.  Instead of being retired as a "grandma perfume" long ago, it still continues to find a receptive audience; seemingly timeless.
